Eagles canyon Raceway | Decatur, TX
Eagles Canyon Raceway opened in 2007 and is located in
Decatur, TX. This remote track has 70 feet of elevation changes
throughout its 11 turn, 2.5 mile length. Though the pavement is
nortoriously rough, its a fun and inexpensive track that is only
a short, sixty mile drive for me.

March 26th, 2016 | ECR Open Track Day
Visited ECR for an open track day with a couple of friends. When I arrived I learned they were running the track in the clockwise direction this day; the first time they had ever done this for an open track day. This meant that everyone started "blind" not knowing the race line so they assigned instructers to all cars. By mid-day I began to fell comfortable enough to push the car and though the track surface was far from smooth, I felt satisfied with the lap times I was ticking off.
